A measure of the wealth and status of an individual or organisation.

Sector
An organisation in which the highest status individuals form a part of the establishment of a nation.
Status
A measure of the stratum to which an individual belongs. The greater his control of the resources of the organisation the higher his or her status.
Stratum (pl. strata)
If, in an organisation sub-organisation, some have more control of the organisation’s shared resources than others, then the organisation is described as being stratified. Individuals with similar levels of control form a group known as a stratum.
